Tips to drying out a commercial building

The main hallway from this hotel flooded. We decided to put up a containment to protect other and avoid further damage.

When a water pipe ruptures in your commercial building, you inevitably have a mess on your hands. Drywall, insulation, and flooring can all be damaged, requiring extensive time and energy in the cleanup process.

Start the process by assessing the damage and figuring out what needs to go and what can stay. (This is one of those often-overlooked cleaning tips!)
Remove standing water using buckets and mops until you have removed as much water as you can
Use commercial fans to help dry the affected area
Rip up carpet and carpet padding as soon as possible to avoid mold.
